a weekend of labor

Eck rolled into town on Thursday night and I knew we were in for a long couple days when we finally closed up shop that night near 1 AM. Friday riding at Buffalo Creek followed by a night on the town in Denver. Saturday took us up to Boulder area to check out some trails we'd never ridden (and we ended up at the wrong spot) and a trip down Pearl Street. Sunday's PV Cycle Derby was a blast, even if Eck did beat me due to a slight (I'd guess 2 miles) diversion from the course. And yesterday a trip up Mt. Falcon in the scorching heat had us craving margs at Morrison Inn followed by some refueling at Yardhouse before depositing the big guy off at DIA for the return trip. A great weekend with great weather and the only thing I didnt' get accomplished was any movement of that 10 ton of rock in my driveway.
